This 90-minute program will provide you with the skills to act when you see behavior that puts others at risk for violence, victimization, or perpetration. Parenting: Parenting with a plan. Being a parent is tough work, especially when you aren’t sure how to best address difficulties that arise. For problematic behavior, poor grades, unhealthy use of technology (or anything else), you can have a plan! Come learn some foundational guidelines to build a practical system in your home to address your concerns in a way that is positive and gets everyone on the same page.

The Vietnam War PBS, a documentary series by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick, airs on Alaska Public Media TV this fall.

Ten years in the making, this immersive, multi-faceted narrative features personal testimony from many perspectives. This is the epic story of the Vietnam War as it has never before been told on film.

Join us for a community screening before the premiere. Hosted by Alaska Public Media, the event is free, open to the public, and does not require a ticket.

Share in the event and be part of the discussion led by the Alaska Humanities Forum following the hour-long special.
