After a careful consideration of enrollment trends and the need to reallocate resources, Mat-Su College is suspending admission to the Sustainable Energy OEC program on the Mat-Su College campus with the intent to eliminate the program as a degree option.

Current students are being informed and are encouraged to contact the Mat-Su College Office of Student Services to meet with an advisor to discuss degree completion.

Prospective students who may have been considering the Sustainable Energy OEC are encouraged to contact the Mat-Su College Office of Student Services at (907) 745-9762 to explore other academic options.


 Occupational Endorsement Certificate

In the Sustainable Energy Occupational Endorsement Certificate Program, students learn the fundamental concepts and skills necessary to pursue employment or gain further training as renewable energy technicians, or pursue additional education in fields related to construction management, science, engineering, architecture, etc.

Earn an OEC in Sustainable Energy. This program is eligible for federal and state financial aid and veteran’s educational benefits.  There is a non-refundable admission fee.
