Winter Safety

I would like to ask ALL staff that arrive before 7:45 A.M. to park in parking bay #1 (on the same side as the college van). If everyone parks in that area, we will avoid the chance of backing into cars parked elsewhere. Bay #1 will be plowed first thing when we arrive. This gives us time to clear all snow away from the areas closest to the building then move out into the other areas.

I would also like to remind everyone to wear their spikes when walking in the parking lots.

Spam Filtering

As part of our Consolidated Services initiatives, we are replacing the local MSC SPAM filtering service with UAA’s Iron Port product. This is expected to decrease our operating costs and standardize services across the UAA community. This change is scheduled to occur at 10:00 p.m. November 4, 2009.

The CTS Department provides all telephone support services for the college. Information on phone and voicemail operation is provided.
Phones – Information on available phone models and operator guides. We currently support the Cisco 7941 and 7961 phone models. PDF updated October 2008.
Voice Mail – Information regarding voicemail setup and operation.
ViewMail – Information regarding ViewMail setup and operation.
Toll Bypass – This service provides toll free calling between UAA campuses.
Long Distance – Access codes are obtained from Elizabeth Childs (746-9337) in the Campus Cache.
Phone Support Request – Link to Help Desk system.
