Education

Start your degree in an education field here at Mat-Su College! You can focus your college career in Early Childhood, Elementary, Secondary, or Special Education. Your program will include two years of general education requirements (GERs) and program specific courses in your field of study. 

After your first two years at Mat-Su College, you would transfer to the University of Alaska Southeast or the University of Alaska Fairbanks to complete the Elementary, Secondary, and/or Special Education programs. The Early Childhood program is completed through UAA (no transfer required). 

You can earn an Occupational Endorsement Certificate (OEC), Associate of Applied Science (AAS), or a Bachelor of Arts (professional or teacher certification track).
