Get Microsoft Office 365

Students at all UAA campuses have the ability to download and install Microsoft Office 365 (this includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote).  You will have access to this software on up to five computers as long as you are a student.  Just follow the steps below:

  1. Use your web browser to visit the Office 365 download portal
  2. At the "sign in" screen, enter your UA email address (e.g.,  At the next screen, enter the password you use for your UA email accountOffice 365 login example shows where to enter email address and next button
  3. Once you are logged in, you can click "Install Office apps" to begin the process of downloading and installing Office 2016shows icons to select available Office 365 apps (OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint, Teams, Class Notebook, Sway, and Forms) and button to install them
  4. When the installer finishes downloading, run it.  At the various pop-up menus, click buttons like "next", "agree", and "allow" to install the program
