Want to get involved?

The Mat-Su Monitor is Mat-Su College’s student newspaper. Being involved in a student newspaper can be a very good learning experience and looks great on a résumé. We need the following:
Writers
Editors
Cartoonist
Business Manager
Ad Accounts

We are not talking about a huge time commitment if we have lots of folks contributing to the effort of putting out the paper.

Meeting Times:  

Thursdays for 2-3 on Zoom.  Join the meeting

Interested in Advertising?

Advertising in the Monitor is VERY inexpensive. Benefits to advertising in the Mat-Su Monitor include:
Approximately 5000 copies of the Monitor are distributed as an insert in the Valley Frontiersman.
Approximately 1000 copies are distributed for free around the Mat-Su College campus.
Approximately 1000 copies are distributed around the community in coffee shops and other such venues.

Mat-Su College students are a diverse group ranging in age from 18 years old to seniors. About 1/3 of our students are of “non-traditional” age, and nearly 2/3 are women.

Ad materials are due at least 10 days prior to publication date. Please submit ad materials as high-resolution PDF files.
