At Mat-Su College, students can earn an Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree, an Undergraduate Certificates or Occupational Endorsement Certificates. As an extended college of the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA), students can easily transition to complete a bachelor’s degree. Freshman applicants are current high school students or graduates who have never attended college.
Transfer applicants have attended college after earning a high school diploma or GED.
The admission requirements for military and veteran applicants are the same as any other transfer student. UAA accepts credits from Joint Services Transcript (JST), which includes Officer and Warrant Officer training, joint military training conducted by other services, DANTES funded test scores, and the Air University/Community College of the Air Force.
For students who want to take courses without plans to pursue a degree. Students are not eligible for financial aid.
For students who have not graduated high school, and are planning to enroll at Mat-Su College while continuing high school.
For Mat-Su Borough School District students who would like to apply as a Mat-Su Middle College High School student.
