Academic Advising

Advisors are professional educators here to help you navigate through the university system from beginning to graduation. They meet you at the point where you are entering your educational journey, and assist you in developing pathways for you to achieve your goals. Our advisors are knowledgeable academic guides, coaches, and referral experts that work with you to develop a personalized plan for your success.

If you experience difficulties adjusting to college or encounter a barrier to your success, an academic advisor can work with you to find resources or help you make important academic decisions. They can suggest new strategies to improve your study skills, time management, and test taking abilities.

Mat-Su College does not assign advisors, except for Mat-Su Middle College High School students. Please indicate if you are a Middle College student in the Appointment Details area when making an appointment.
