(MSMCS students should make appointments directly with their assigned advisors.)

• Phone Advising: Add your name to the list below. An advisor will call based on the order of submission.

• In-Person Advising: Please sign in upon arrival at MSC Student Services, FSM 101.
  (Note: For in-person meetings, sign in only when you arrive at Mat-Su Campus and are ready to be seen.)

SAME DAY ADVISING SIGN UP

Advisors are professional educators here to help you navigate through the university system from beginning to graduation. They meet you at the point where you are entering your educational journey, and assist you in developing pathways for you to achieve your goals. Our advisors are knowledgeable academic guides, coaches, and referral experts that work with you to develop a personalized plan for your success.

If you experience difficulties adjusting to college or encounter a barrier to your success, an academic advisor can work with you to find resources or help you make important academic decisions. They can suggest new strategies to improve your study skills, time management, and test taking abilities. 

Advisors see all students, but the programs listed are their focus of specialization.

Prior to your advising appointment:

1. Apply for Admission at Mat-Su College or UAA.
2. Complete Placement Test.
3. Request Transcripts from previously attended institutions.
