General Education Requirements (GERs)

If you plan to “take the basics” and then transfer to a larger university, you’ll find what you need at MSC. General Education Requirements (GERs) form the core of any bachelor’s degree and include important courses in math, writing, the social and natural sciences, as well as the arts and humanities. MSC offers classes in a wide variety of subjects that help you explore interest areas and fine tune your career plans during your first two years of college. There are over 100 GER courses to choose from!

The Annual Security and Fire Safety Report is available online at:  The report contains information regarding campus safety and security including topics such as: campus law enforcement authority; crime reporting policies; campus alerts (Timely Warnings and Emergency Notifications); fire safety policies and procedures; programs to prevent dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking; the procedures the University will follow when one of these crimes is reported; and other matters of importance related to security on campus.
