Campus Advertising Review Process

To ensure consistent, accurate, accessible, and professional communications, all college-affiliated advertising and promotional materials must be reviewed by the Marketing and Communications Department prior to publication, distribution, or display. This includes advertising placed in newspapers and other print publications, radio, television, digital platforms, and other external venues.

Departments, academic programs, committees, student organizations, and individuals representing Mat-Su College who wish to promote a college-related event, initiative, program, or service through posters, flyers, digital materials, or other promotional formats should submit materials to Marketing and Communications for review prior to distribution.

The review process ensures materials align with Mat-Su College Branding Guidelines, accessibility standards, institutional messaging, and applicable university policies. Materials may be returned for revisions to address branding, accessibility, accuracy, or other requirements prior to approval.

To allow adequate time for review and any necessary revisions, materials should be submitted at least one week before the intended publication, distribution, or display date.

Questions or materials for review may be submitted to Marketing and Communications at msc.marketing@alaska.edu.
